Family Houses by the Sea is an homage to family waterside escapes. The book highlights twenty-one homes alongs the coasts of the United States, France, England, and Scandinavia. From a rustic shingled cottage in Maine to a French villa to a Baltic manor, none of the homes have been professionally decorated; rather, the home styles have evolved organically through the taste and needs of each family.
Created by Alexandra D’Arnoux, assistant editor-in-chief and Vogue Décoration, and Jérôme Darblay, contributor to Elle Décoration, Maison et Jardin, and Interiors.
